Origami heart!
It is a great origami!I make 4 hearts, glue them together and then I have a flower made of hearts!(you will see that at the last picture)

Pendulum
This article is not for animals, but for science.I am going to write about the Pendulum.I made a power point about it,but I will make it as an article.
THIS IS THE PENDULUM!
A simple
pendulum consists of a light,
inextensible string
suspended at the one end to a pivot point and attached to a point mass at the
other end.
The period of
a pendulum is the time taken for one complete oscillation.
A pendulum is
an object hanging from a fixed point that when pulled back and released, swings
freely. A pendulum swings due to gravity and inertia.
- Pendulums are used in a variety of applications from timing devices like clocks and metronomes to oil prospecting devices. The word "pendulum" comes from the Latin word "pendulus" which means "hanging".
Period is the
time that a pendulum needs to make one complete oscillation .
Period is
symbolised with T and it is measured in seconds (s) .
Frequency is
the number of complete oscillations per unit time.
Frequency is symbolised with f and it
is measured in Hertz (Hz) .
Α complete
oscillation , is when the pendulum moves from position A to B , and to C to B
and back to A.
Question 1
Does the angle θ affect the oscillation ?
Does the angle θ affect the oscillation ?
Experimental Method
•A
metre rule
is used to measure the length of the pendulum. For this investigation the
length is kept constant, 17cm.
•A
metal sphere of mass 200g is attached on the one end.
•Several
trials were conducted and by varying the
angle θ that
the string makes with the vertical orientation .
•Τhe
time taken for 10 oscillation s was
measured by using a stopwatch.
The
time period is calculated.
The
data is shown in the table below.
List of the Materials
•Simple
pendulum
•Ruler
•Stopwatch
•Retort
stand
The size of
angle θ doesn’t
affect the time period of oscillation of a simple pendulum at a given length.
